Hotels That Use A Downlite White Goose Down Pillow

Did you love the Downlite White goose Down pillows during a recent hotel stay? Did you sleep like a baby while you were on vacation?

If you did, you probably want to buy one for your own bed at home.

So, below is a list of all hotels and resorts confirmed to use a Downlite goose-down pillow.

Where To Buy Downlite Goose Pillows

The version that you will find in hotels features 600-fill power white goose down. They are available in Soft, Medium, and Firm densities.

Only the Soft Density version is available on Amazon. But, we have all three pillows in our store.

If you checked the tags on the pillow in your hotel room, the model number should have said DOW777PI0280, DOW777PI0290, or DOW777PI0300. The model number ending in 280 is the “soft” version, 290 is for the “medium”, and 300 is for the “firm” pillow.

A bunch of other numbers will follow the model number. Those other numbers indicate size. For example, DOW777PI0300-WHI-020-036 indicates a 20″ x 36″ king-size pillow (firm version).

Most hotels offer the “soft” version, but we’ll indicate below which density is featured at the particular hotel

Why Choose A Downlite Goose Down Pillow?

Downlite’s goose-down pillows are common in 4 and 5-star hotels and resorts.

A white goose-down pillow is the luxury option when it comes to pillows. So, they’re usually found in nicer hotels. And those hotels almost always use a Downlite pillow.

Downlite goose down is RDS Certified, and hypoallergenic. So, even people who regularly suffer from allergies tend to enjoy a Downlite down pillow.

Which Density Is Right For You?

If you were extremely pleased with the pillow in your hotel room, we would suggest that you stick with that model.

But, here is a general rule of thumb to follow when choosing a pillow:

If you mainly sleep on your stomach, then a soft-density pillow is best. Similarly, if you mainly sleep on your back, choose a medium density. And, if you mainly sleep on your side, then the firm density would be the best bet.

If you tend to move and shift positions while sleeping, then medium or firm should be fine.

Again, this is a general rule of thumb. Keep your dimensions in mind when choosing a pillow. If you are very petite, you might want to go lower in density.

Likewise, if you have a large frame, specifically large shoulders, go up a level in density.
